The schedule for the opening day is listed below.  <\/p>\n<p>There will be two finals tomorrow  &#8211; Men&#8217;s Shot Put and Women&#8217;s 10,000. American&#8217;s have a chance to gain medals right off the bat in the Shot with Reese Hoffa, Christian Cantwell, and Dan Taylor being three of the top four throwers this year. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.iaaf.org\/statistics\/toplists\/inout=o\/age=n\/season=2009\/sex=M\/all=n\/legal=A\/disc=SP\/detail.html\">Shot leaders<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Top American hopes in the 10,000 will be Amy Begley Yoder and Shalane Flanagan. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.iaaf.org\/statistics\/toplists\/inout=o\/age=n\/season=2009\/sex=W\/all=n\/legal=A\/disc=10K\/detail.html\">10,000 leaders<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Opening day will also feature the heats and quarterfinals of what should be one of the highlights of the meet &#8211; the men&#8217;s 100 meters. The US will be lead by defending champion Tyson Gay as he attempts to defend against Olympic champion Usain Bolt (JAM).
