In the past we\u2019ve gotten super performances in events like the 400 where collegians Kerron Clement (44.57), Kirani James (44.80) and LaShawn Merritt (44.93) still sit #1, #3, and #4 all time. Similar performances like Wallace Spearmon blazing 20.10 in the 200 &#8211; #2 all time or Paul Ereng covering 800 in 1:44.84 \u2013 a WR at the time. We\u2019ve seen Ginnie Powell run the hurdles in 7.84, Jenny Simpson the mile in 4:25.91, and Destinee Hooker high jumping 6\u2019 6\u201d. <\/p>\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"background-image: none; border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; margin: 5px 6px 5px 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: inline; float: left; border-top: 0px; border-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px\" title=\"Jeff Demps - University of Florida Sprinter\" border=\"0\" alt=\"image\" align=\"left\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/trackchill.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/02\/image1.png?resize=192%2C240\" width=\"192\" height=\"240\" \/>This year, however, collegiate performances have seemed rather average for the most part.
